George M. Ristau, Jr. moved to Elmwood Park, Illinois in 1957 with his parents, George and Rosemary. He attended St. Celestine grade school, and then attended Holy Cross High School in River Grove, Illinois. George was editor of the Crusader newspaper, a member of the Debate team, and played Baseball for the Crusaders. He also was a member of the National Honor Society and the Kiwanis Key Club. After graduating in 1970, George attended DePaul University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a Minor in History/Social Studies in 1973. He graduated from IIT, Chicago Kent College of Law in 1976.
George became a Broker/Owner in 1974 when he founded Ristau Realty in Elmwood Park, Illinois. He also practiced law with an emphasis in Real Estate Law. In 1979, George became Broker/President of Century 21, Ristau/Holt,Inc. in Elmwood Park. He formed an Investment Division in 1982 with a focus on apartment building and commercial properties. In 1991, George became the Broker/Owner of All Pro Real Estate System, Inc., the area's largest independent real estate firm.
All Pro System, Inc. joined the Realty World Broker Network in 2000 and has grown from a single office to three Chicago and Suburban offices that includes 60 top producing agents with expertise in residential, commercial, investment and retail leasing.
